Artist / Programmer
With over a decade of experience in game art and a strong background in programming, Markus brings the post-apocalyptic world of Ruins to Fortress to life. His unique visual style, combined with his programming skills, allows for seamless integration of art and technology in the game. A gamer from the first hour, Markus's design philosophy is deeply influenced by classic titles like Quake and Doom.
Simon (Crimi)
Lead Programmer
Simon has been making software and games for many years. He's the main programmer for Ruins to Fortress, building the systems that run the game's world and multiplayer features. Simon loves playing games, especially classics like Counter-Strike, Rust and Unreal Tournament. This passion drives him to create fun and competitive gameplay in Ruins to Fortress.

Our Story
Markus and Simon have been friends since their teenage years, bonded by their shared passion for video games.
This long-standing friendship has been the foundation of their collaborative work on Ruins to Fortress.
Beyond their love for gaming, both are avid long-distance hikers. Their adventures in the great outdoors have taken them to numerous breathtaking locations.
The duo's combined experience in gaming, software development, and their shared love for exploration perfectly complement each other in creating the immersive world of Ruins to Fortress.
